Random Monday Thoughts

I woke this morning with a terrible sinus headache. After piecing together clues, I think I can no longer deny the existence of a sinus infection. Which I'm not at all happy about. I need to call my doctor this morning and get it taken care of.

My boys are outside right now shoveling the foot of snow we got yesterday so we can actually leave our driveway. Because yesterday on the way home from church? We couldn't find our road. So much snow. However, in a winter miracle, we had a snow plow come through for the first time this winter behind our house (where our garage is), so we'll actually be able to leave this morning.
(that's a big pile 'o snow people...completely covering our raised garden beds)

After I take Sammy to school this morning, I have to stop by the post office. Because sometime Friday? They took our mailbox and replaced it with a different one and didn't tell anyone. And our keys don't work on the new one. It's left us all baffled and I'm wondering if that's what we get for not checking the mail on Friday (I kid...). But really. What the what?

I had a dream last night I gave birth to 12 pound each triplets. I clearly shouldn't have had the second fajita for dinner last night...

My friend is in Costa Rica right now. I want to go back so desperately. It's been building mightily the past little while. I chose to believe it's not the winter getting to me.

T-minus two months until vacation.

T-minus 4 days until 39...

  1. 12 pound triplets!! Oy! And that's just nuts about the key. And nice about the snow plow, we're wondering if David will make it out of the cul-de-sac this morning. It's the last thing plowed in all of Logan.

    1. Yeah...not the key. Apparently someone HIT our mailbox, knocking it clear off and we have to wait for a replacement. So...lovely.

And, well, I think you and Sharon may have a competition for the last thing plowed. Her cul-de-sac down right frightens me!

  2. So how do you get your mail until then??

And.....they plowed last night! Of course, with that much snow that just meant that we had the Swiss Alps at the end of our driveway to contend with...

    What did the dr. say?

    1. We have to go to the post office. He was SO UNHELPFUL and looked at us like we were stupid, asking what happened. OY. So annoyed.

We, as well, have a bit of the Alps here. And, well, I may have to see your street to believe it!

Sinus infection. Glorious meds. I should feel better by mid-week. Hooray! He also requested to see my bruise from my biopsy. I've never seen a bruise give a medical professional so much pleasure...It IS kinda awesome, though.
