Sammy asked, the other day, why we have a sticker on our car that says "Finn". I told him why and said, "did you know I wanted to name you Finn but daddy said no?". He looked awfully concerned at this nugget and all of a sudden said, in his best high pitched baby voice, with his head really low below his hands, like he was a baby, "don't name me Finn, name me Sammy!". "Mommy, that's totally what I said when I was a baby...". Sigh...such a goober kid!
He made a collar for Momo. Out of construction paper and tape. My son is the Macgyver of construction paper and tape I swear.
A paper from school. Which kind of broke my heart. Not enough to ACT on his wish, mind you, but a little broken none the less. ("I wish my stuffed cat was real")
I am so sorry that my cat is possessed of the devil and cannot fill his need :(
When Simon was going through his "I'll be a cat until I can have a cat" phase, he made himself a construction paper collar and wore it around for weeks.
Sharon, THAT is funny! I have a friend whose daughter acts like a cat because they don't have a cat too... not sure if she has her own collar though. Classic!
Oh Lacy, he used to put all his food on the floor and lie down and eat it off the floor. He would crawl around on his hands and knees meowing...even in stores!!!
Would that be HINT HINT ?
ReplyDeleteAbout the cat? He doesn't hint. He full on asks...

ReplyDeleteOur cat looks an awful lot like Momo and we are looking for a home for her. Sure you don't want one? :)
ReplyDeleteOh, come on. Every kid needs a pet.
ReplyDeleteYeah, no. I don't believe that at all. Besides, we like to travel too much. That' our pet!
