  1. Oh, my! I may just kick off every week with Adele and David Cook from now on. Thank you for this.

  2. well, I have to confess, I think David Cook is great. We followed him all through American Idol and I just have a connection with him. His brother died of cancer while he was on AI and my heart just went out to him.

My computer is being slow and I just realized my kids are trying to watch a movie on Netflix so I'll have to watch these later... it's just slowing both of them down.

So far, I like 30 Seconds to Mars... well at least the 30 seconds I listened to.

  3. I do enjoy Mumford and Sons, although I only know the few songs I've seen them do on late night talk shows. Adele. Ugh-a-rama. But Jacob likes her-what's up with that?
That 30 seconds to Mars song sounds like some other song from the 80's...someone help me...what is it?
I liked David Cook on AI, although I will say I don't really follow him. Love this song, though. He does it ok, I guess, but the original has an understated intensity that is what makes it great that is obviously missing in his version.
And of course, I love the Kooks. You're welcome.

  4. Lacy - I haven't really followed David Cook since AI, but I do love that song he wrote while his brother was in treatment. So lovely.

30 Seconds to Mars - Jared Leto. Used to be an actor. So much better in a band.

Sharon - Isaac really likes Adele, too. As well as Lily Allen. I think it's funny.

And, yes. Thank you for the Kooks. Which is ALWAYS in rotation around here. I just LOVE them.
