  1. You forgot Lady Antebellum. ;-)

  2. I SHOULD have done an addendum of credit for them, at least!

  3. Oooooo. I had to go relisten. Good choice.

  4. It... uh...Ummmm... never mind.

  5. Wait. Crap. Am I missing something obvious? Am I not understanding something with the lyrics I should? I hate feeling obtuse.

  6. I'm so glad The Cranberries got an honorable mention. I listened to them on the way to and from breaking up with one of my boyfriends in college. It probably wasn't the best idea because now I can't listen to them without thinking about that experience, but I still like them.

  7. I LOVE The Cranberries. LOVE, love, love. And I hate when my favorites get marred by bad memories!

  8. #1 is #1 and you find Lady Antebellum undesirable? The screeching! yikes!
    LOL
I do LOVE #2. Do I get points for that?

  9. Trish...I'm with you. I'm not a Frames fan. Sorry T!

#2 is one of the single best songs ever. EVER. Love that song.

  10. You see screeching, I see heart felt emotion! :) And I LOVE that song. Turn up loud and belt it love.

And absolutely you get points. Because, as Sharon said, it's (one of the) best songs EVER.

  11. Number 2 is a classic.

How about Joy Division's Love Will Tear Us Apart?

  12. I've never loved Joy Division. I know that would be on a lot of people's list (my ex's included...) but eh. I think they're overrated (I feel a little dirty for saying that!).

  13. I don't know enough about Joy Division to be a big fan (other than that New Order came from them), but I do like that song.
Plus, it was worth the comment for me, just to get you to say something back that made you feel a little dirty.

  14. 2 more comments, because I'm home sick and bored like that...

I can't believe you found a Shout Out Louds video. there were none to be found last time I looked. Man I love that band. I've had their discography in my car on shuffle for months.

I'm struggling with the positive mention of ATE on your blog. Evidence #42 that we do, in fact, have VERY different tastes in music. :)

  15. Just for you, lbs.

Sharon - there are very few SOL videos and to find ANY that are decent was tough. I'm wondering why? It seems weird now days. I made a SOL / Kooks playlist that sees a lot of daylight in our house.

And, well, I couldn't tell you another ATE (in fact, had to scroll up to figure out who ATE WAS) song, but I do love that one.
