Okay, this has nothing to do with your entry, but I noticed "Kite Runner" on your book list. I was brousing through Barnes and Noble yesterday and almost bought it. So, is it worth my time? Looks interesting. By the way, finished Persuasion and quite liked it. I think I may have to read it again.
Kite Runner is SUCH a good book. Really intense, though.
Ok, T--I don't know one of those songs; seriously, not one. How weird is that? (and all Tori Amos songs bring me to tears, but probably for a different reason...)
I love that Tori Amos song. She can be very poetic. That's a great list. I think using this as a theme could make an excellent mix cd. Of course I'd mostly be interested in hearing other people's songs, not my own, unless I was hormonal. :)
This is a song that can bring me to almost-tears just about everytime I hear it. Not because of any memory associated with it, but for the line "Sorry for never going by your door, never feeling love like that anymore."
Seriously? None of them, Sharon? Not even the BNL song? Huh.
I want She Goes On played at my funeral.
I'm not a Tori Amos fan, but that song kills me.
Kate Bush's This Woman's Work nearly made the cut, but then I figured holding a feverish baby on my lap was not the best time to make that particular call!

I don't know any of those songs either. However, it was cool to hear some different songs. I liked the Annie Lennox one!

Lora - I'm so glad you finished Persuasion! It's so underrated, I think.
ReplyDeleteNope. I'm not quite the BNL fan that you are (runs to the corner to hide...)
ReplyDeleteWell, I know that, but I still had assumed you had heard it!
