Haircut 100...

Sammy's been needing a haircut for...quite some time. I've put it off, because...well, let's just say the first one isn't a happy memory. Sorry, Lindsay! However, it was nearing the "Grandpa will call you a hippie" stage, so we made a home appointment with my neice, Drew. It'll go better at home. Right?! It went only slightly better this time around. Sorry, Drew!

(You would think we were slowly cutting off his ears!)

(He spent most of the time with his forehead on my forehead. It was very pathetic...)

(I love my hardwood floors! Oh, yeah. Sammy's still wailing.)

(Sorry, Drew. Sorry, Drew. Sorry, Drew.)

(still very, very skeptical after)

(perking up thinking he can get the camera)

(Finally life is starting to spark back into his eyes. I'm sure he'll be in therapy over this soon.)

Unfortunately, after all is said and done, I realize I like my boy with longer hair. He doesn't pull off the short hair very well. Here's hoping it grows fast like his parents' does!
(By the way, Lindsay? The hair was cleaned up - are you ready for this? - with a real broom. Aren't you so proud???)

  2. I hate these kinds of haircuts!

I cut my boys' hair. I am all about the clipper and the #4 attachment unless it is summer, then they get the #1 attachment. Of course, then they get old enough to have an opinion and want it styled. Then I send them with money to let someone else deal with it, so long as they have to do the combing.

And the clean up is one reason why I love summer. I cut their hair outside, on the grass.

  3. That last picture is so stinkin' cute of Sammy....I love it! You would think that his hairs had feelings or something. Sorry for the traumatic event but it sure made for a good post.
